Residential New Construction Program
Our Residential Builder Program pays cash rebates directly to the builder of single-family homes and multi-family buildings for the installation of any of the "Big Four" appliances:
- Tankless Water Heater - $550
- High Efficiency Tank Water Heater (.63 EF) - $400
- Standard Tank Water Heater - $350
- Clothes Dryer - $100
- Gas Cooking - $150
- Space Heating - $ 500
Also consider installing other gas appliances like indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills, pool & spa heaters, and gas lights that add convenience and value to your homes.

Because Florida City Gas has fully unbundled its commercial rates, business owners can now shop for the best gas price from a number of third party suppliers.
Commercial Conversion Program
Under this program, business owners can qualify for rebates of $75 per 100,000 Btu input rating on a wide variety of equipment.
Alternative Technology Program
This program offers customized incentives to business owners for non-traditional equipment installations, such as Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Generation, Co-generation, Dehumidification, Engine Technologies, Natural Gas Vehicles and more.
Natural Gas Is the Cleanest Burning Fossil Fuel
Very few byproducts are emitted into the atmosphere as pollutants, generating 45% fewer emissions. Natural gas produces half the CO2 than that of coal, and two-thirds that of oil. Natural gas produces less sulfur dioxide (precursor of acid rain) and less nitrogen oxides (precursor of smog) that coal or oil.
Additionally, the natural gas industry efforts to reduce methane emissions have resulted in 6% less since 1990. The carbon footprint of houses with natural gas is 40% less than those with electric only, partly because three times more energy reaches the customer with natural gas!
Natural Gas is Preferred, Adding Real Value
Overall, 74% of homeowners would recommend a natural gas home to their friends, 75% of homeowners prefer natural gas for cooking, 72% for water heating, and 71% for home heating. Plus, the average price for a new home with natural gas sells for 6% more than the average all electric home.
